Rating Scale

Our Rating scale is out of 1000 points.

How do we calculate that?

First of all, anyone participating in the meal rates the food on a scale of 1-5.  1 being I couldn't finish my portion to 5 being "I'm going to dream about this meal".

Only the people who had that meal get to rate a particular meal.  We share often.  So a lot of meals will be rated out of 4-6 diners, but some are only 1.

We then average the scores and multiply by 200 for effect.

Example:
Meal shared by 5 diners.  Scores: 4,3,4,4,2.  Total = 17.  Average = 3.4  Total = 680 -- Dinner name (5)

We'll put the number of reviewers in parenthesis so you know if it just one person's opinion or the opinion of a larger group.
